LAST HAIR UPDATE 'TILL MAY 2011.

I'm over going to the salon and blowing out my hair so i will not. I got wash/set and blow dried at the roots on Saturday December 4th but i have no plans of getting it done until  May 2011. Me and the Tammy half wig have a thang goin on and i'm totally in love with it. I will be rockin that for awhile now so bye bye to my real hurr. i'm not feelin' it like i'm feelin tammy. Here is a pic of my real hair after going to the salon. It got thicker. I'm thinking of getting it cut which i know defeats the purpose but i want a really blunt cut where the hair is evenly straight.  i want it BLUNT like a japanese girl. lol!   i may do that may 2011 or before we shall see. My goal is waistlenght  by 2012 so i still got time if i do the cut. I will keep u posted with the blunt cut as soon as i do it.

My new tammy wig aka Beyonce wig has arrived.

If i have the time patience and the assistance i will do a video blog of how i put this wig on. It's fabulous. It looks so great with my roots, absolute perfect match. Its a half wig and i absolutely adore. I think i will order 3 more to last me through the cold winter months. Please share your thoughts...is this a yay or a nay.

I have no idea who this chick is but i got her pic from Hairmedia.com and she is rockin' the Tammy Half wig. She looks great with it. This is the wig i'm waiting for. I feel like it will blend very well with my real hair. What do you all think?

Retaining hair length....

Hi All!

 I am still waiting on my beyonce wig. This is some bs cause i have been waiting for it for over a week and i really dislike walking around with my real hair in November.  I feel like the moment the weather gets below 50 degrees my hair should be tucked neatly in to a wig cap *shrugs*.  Doing that retains hair...as long as u keep it well conditioned and moisturized under there you will be happy with your results.

I rarely wear my hair down. I may wear it down every three months if i get it straightened at the dominicans and wear it down for a couple of days. I personally don't like my hair down. I think i look better with my hair pulled back in a bun.

Retaining length is very important to me in this journey. My  hair is slightly uneven right now because i cut it myself during a traumatic time in my life Janaury 2010 and i had to get it fixed by a salon and they made it look "normal". Some sections I cut really really short so...its growing out unique but the good thing is my ends "beez" the bomb!!!! lol! (i love to entertain myself with my slang talk so please don't mind me). I had my domincan chick look at it and she was like wow it looks great so because the ends are sooo  healthy i didn't have to  trim anything which retains more length and make my hair appear like its growing faster.  I usually try to get a trim every 3-6 months. My hair is always in a bun or pinned up. I hate hair touching my shirt or coat so this is what helped me go from Shoulder length to past arm pit length in 9 months.

So below is a pic of my real hair washed and air dried it has some waves cause i braided into two plaits the night before. After that photo i pinned it up.  Again, I can't stand my hair on my shoulders... i wonder what i will do when my hair actually gets to waist length. :-)

October 2010 Hair Update

This is my hair straightened. I got it done yesterday at the Dominicans. It's a little past arm pit length.  November, December, January and February are my wig months. I ordered this synthetic wig by Outre called Tammy and its cute.  It's sooo Beyonce(ish) and i cant wait to get it. I will post pics of my new half wig once received.

9 months Comparison photo.

The before pic was taken sometime in February 2010 and the after was taken last night after moisturizing and sealing my hair.

I can finally claim arm pit length...next stop is Bra Strap Length. Again the longest my hair has ever been is bra strap length and that was during my college years and afer cuts, colors and weaves and braids it just never went back.

My hair has never grown this fast.. I hope to be bra strap length again sometime this summer and midback length fall of 2011 and then my ultimate goal of waist length early 2012.
