October 2010 Hair Update

This is my hair straightened. I got it done yesterday at the Dominicans. It's a little past arm pit length.  November, December, January and February are my wig months. I ordered this synthetic wig by Outre called Tammy and its cute.  It's sooo Beyonce(ish) and i cant wait to get it. I will post pics of my new half wig once received.

9 months Comparison photo.

The before pic was taken sometime in February 2010 and the after was taken last night after moisturizing and sealing my hair.

I can finally claim arm pit length...next stop is Bra Strap Length. Again the longest my hair has ever been is bra strap length and that was during my college years and afer cuts, colors and weaves and braids it just never went back.

My hair has never grown this fast.. I hope to be bra strap length again sometime this summer and midback length fall of 2011 and then my ultimate goal of waist length early 2012.

Bioluxe: My love affair with a conditioner...

I found the best new conditioner an its inexpensive.  I'm sorry to say that I'm one of those people that typically believe that the more expensive the product the better it is...except when it comes to food (the hole in the wall spots are always betters then the fiffi foofoo spots). Anyways back to hair...I will do a food blog after i accomplish this hair goal of mine.  I''m way too random even while blogging.

A few weeks ago I was down Cape Cod, and decided to do a CVS  run; I went straight to the hair aisle (hair addict here) and for some reason BIOLUXE hydrating conditioner  popped out at me so I held it up and read the ingredients. This conditioner had everything that worked well with my particular hair type. Pathenol for thickening, and all the other hydrating goodies my 4a hair need to achieve this goal of mine and the best part...itwas only 9.99 which made me question it at first lol! Anyways, I went back to the hotel room excited to use this and airdried my hair and of course use my other leave in products which are listed below in my regimen post.

I must say I was amazed at how sexy my hair looked lol! YES MY HURR LOOKED SEXY DAMMIT! it had a nice s-curl pattern through out the hair and not the typical s in some region zig zag in the other. LOL! i was pleased but i wasn't completely floored to make this product part of my regimen just yet.  Fast forward to a month and i must say i've been using this product in place of my dear Hairveda. 

I'm not gonna drop Hairveda competely but i'm gonna start rotating between Bioluxe and Hairveda moving forward.  December is APL month so i gots to do this. I'm excited because i think i might reach that goal before December which will make me that much closer to my goal length of Waist Length. lol! YIPPEE!!!!
